Party Time - Your Next Stamp Friday Challenge

Happy Friday!

There is still time to play along and link up your creation to the YNS Challenge for this fun sketch and color challenge.  This is a perfect sketch to use some washi tape you may have been wanting to use.

For my card, I am using the cutest set of Snorkel Fun Penguin paired up with the sketch.

I stamped the image and masked it before sponging the background with some Distress Inks and sprayed with a little water.  The image was colored with Copics and I used some patterned paper from Authentique.  The card was finished with some Gum Drops and a little bit of washi tape at the top before adding a little fishtail strip with the sentiment.

We hope you will be able to join us in this challenge for your chance to win a YNS gift certificate! Be sure to stop by the  YNS Blog to see all the fun creations some of the DT members have made.  Have a great weekend!

A Sweet Day - Feature Day - Your Next Stamp

It's Feature Day with Your Next Stamp and the DT have created some pretty "sweet" projects.  The theme is Sweet Treats and you won't be disappointed with what you will see!

For my card, I am using the set of Sprinkles Sugar Rush and the coordinating dies.  This set happens to be on sale, so be sure to grab a set while it is at this great price!

I colored the image with Copics before popping them up over the panel cut out using the Stitched Rectangle die set.  I added a circle glitter cut for an added element and the sentiment was heat embossed.

Don't forget to stop by the YNS Blog to see all the creations and leave a little love.  You can have a chance at winning a stamp set of your choice! Thanks for stopping by and have a great Thursday.

March Release Blog Hop - The Cat's Pajamas Stamps

The time has come for the March new release and blog hop with The Cat's Pajamas Stamps! This release is full of cuteness (just take a look at that image above!) and there are some unique Cut Up's for all your Spring projects.

I have two cards to share with you and this first one is one using both the Special Delivery set and the Spring Tag Duo Cut Ups.

The 'Get Well' image was stamped and colored in with my Koh-i-noor colored pencils before cutting it out to pop up over the gate.  The background patterned paper is one I had from Pebbles and I used it to create somewhat of an extension of the tree limbs. This Spring tag duo set is perfect for so many ideas and of course tags!

My second card is one using this super funny set of What the Froth.  I just love the non-amused faces of these animals.  Much like my look first thing in the morning before that first sip of coffee! :)

This image just reminded me of a vintage masculine card and felt some of this EP patterned paper fit the bill.  I cut it at an angle to have it sit differently along the black panel. The image was stamped and colored in with Copics while the panel it is on was cut out using the main tag portion of the Spring Tag duo Cut Ups.  I then popped it up over the patterned paper and it was finished with a few black and grey pearls.

Are you in it to win it?

Be sure to leave a little love as you hop along for your chance at winning a TCP store gift certificate! Thanks so much for hopping in and hope you have a great Tuesday!

March Release Sneak Peek - The Cat's Pajamas Stamps

Are you ready? It's sneaky peek time with The Cat's Pajamas Stamps and this months release is fab-u-lous! There are so many beautiful Cut Up dies and the stamp sets will make you laugh and want to break out those watercolors or pencils.

For my first peek, I am using two of the soon to be released Cut Ups of Butterfly Trio and Oval Scroll duo to create the focus of this card and used a sentiment from a new set called Special Delivery.  This set is darling and I can't wait to create more with it.

For the butterflies, I used some Distress Inks and watercolor paper to make a design before cutting out the butterflies with the dies. I really liked how they turned out and these dies are perfect for such a technique.

For my second card, I am making a monochromatic style card using the new set of Sponsored by.  Another soon to be favorite that I cannot wait to create more with.  I decided to showcase the smaller images and a sentiment to hopefully capture a simple and coffee loving card.

Are you

Your Next Stamp Friday Challenge

Happy Fri-Yay everyone!

Another week down in 2018 and the weekend is waiting.  I hope you all have something fun planned or maybe it's just a relaxing weekend.

It's the last week for this fun sketch and color challenge over on the YNS Challenge blog. I love this sketch and of course, needed to use it.  It's perfect for showcasing some fun patterned paper.

This first thing to mention here is that this fun set of Cute Gnomies I used is retired.  It's super cute and this sentiment is my favorite.  I stamped the images and colored them in with Copics before cutting them out with the coordinating dies.  For the top panel, I used one end of the Stitched Scallop Rectangle dies set to create the top.  The patterned paper is one from Pebbles.  The images and chunky grass are popped up while the sentiment is stamped directly onto the top panel.

We hope you play along and link up on the challenge blog for your chance to win! Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Your Next Stamp March DT Dare

Happy Thursday friends!

I have been rather busy this last week that I overlooked my post here that should have been up yesterday! So, I am posting today but hope you also stop by the YNS Blog to see the other awesome creations the DT have done.  This months dare is all about "What's up?"  Just a creation that could be anything from a pick me up to a happy whatever.

For my card, I am using the new Whatnot Sentiments Twelve to create this birthday card.

I used some of the new Geometrics paper (love it!) from YNS  for the background and created a bit of an envelope look for the main image area. I ran along the edge some cotton lace ribbon before I stamped the sentiment in the YNS Olive Green ink and added the included heart in some Memento Morocco ink.  The Starburst Trio die set was used for creating a little visual at the corner as I popped them up.  The card was finished with some of the new Carrot Cake Gumdrops.  This new color combo in the Geometrics paper collection is becoming a favorite and I am sure I will be using this quite a bit.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek and don't forget to head over to the YNS Blog to leave a little love so that you can have a chance at winning a stamp set of your choice!

Your Next Stamp March New Release and Blog Hop

The time has come!! It is the March release and blog hop for Your Next Stamp.  There is so much cuteness and fun packing into this new release that you are sure to find more items for your stash.

For my first and second creation to share with you are some that are made with the new set called All Aboard Bouncing Baby.  I think this set is perfect for tags, gift enclosures, and peek-a-boo style cards.  I created both gift enclosures and a tag using a few images from this set.

For the back panel of the gift cards,  I used some the new YNS paper pad of Sweet Baby.  It doesn't matter if you need something for a boy or a girl because this paper collection has you covered! For the top panel, I cut out some cardstock using the Stitched Frame Die and used my MISTI to place the image where I wanted it in the frame.  The images were colored with Copics and finished with a couple of other images to pop up. For the tag, I kept it fairly simple using more the new paper collection and the Cool Tag 5 set.  The sentiment was stamped on the center panel before popping it up and adding the image to the bottom.

For my next card, I am using the new Whatnot Sentiments 12 to create this fun birthday card.  I layered the panels using the Stitched Rectangles die set and another new YNS Paper collection called Geometrics. SO fun!

This is a card you can whip up quickly using this sentiment set and starburst dies.  So many possibilities.   The card was finished with some of the new yummy Carrot Cake gumdrops.

March Release Sneaky Peek - Your Next Stamp

Happy Saturday!!

It's time for another sneaky peek with Your Next Stamp! This March release is full of so much cuteness and uniqueness in the stamps and dies.  Get your pen and paper ready to jot down all your favorites for tonight's release!

For my peek, I am using the set of Puddles of Fun and decided to make this card a partial opening type card.

I used some decorative scissors to create the wave top before adding the Chunky Grass die cut to the bottom.  The image was stamped and colored in with Copics before using the coordinating dies to cut her out and pop her up.  The first sentiment was stamped directly onto the top panel.

For the inside, I used the soon to be released raindrop die to create the background on a piece of blue cardstock.

For the sun, I am also using a soon to be released die of Starbursts to create the sun and popped up a stitched cloud over it.  I added another darling image to pop up and added the inside sentiment.

Thanks for taking a peek today and hope you all have a warm and wonderful Saturday! Be sure to stop by the YNS Blog to see all the peeks and stop by tonight for our hop!

TCPTUES344 - One Cup At A Time

Happy Tuesday!

I hope you all had a great weekend and a great start to your week.  It's time for another TCPTUES and this challenge is all about my favorite - Coffee or Tea!! There are so many wonderful, cute, and funny sets in the TCP Store perfect for this challenge.  I went through my stash of TCP stamps and had a hard time choosing which ones I wanted to use.  I settled on using the set of Big Cups and it always makes me giggle.

This image reminds me of how I feel at about 3:00 of every day.  I just need to lie down with a cup o' joe. :)  Of course, I had to use it.  Some patterned paper was placed at the bottom of the card so the image could be stamped along the top.  I made sure his cute little ear hung over the paper and paper pieced the cup with the coordinating color to this patterned paper.  The sentiment was stamped at the top with some Pistachio Memento ink and the card finished with some fun enamel drops and ribbon.
We hope you come play along with the challenge and link your creation up on the TCP Blog for your chance to win! Thanks for popping in and taking a peek!! Have a great week!

Your Next Stamp Friday Challenge

Happy [windy] Friday!

The crazy winds are in full force here!  But it's a good day to stay in and do a little crafting.

It's the final week of this Your Next Stamp challenge before a new sketch and color are up.  This is a great sketch perfect for spotlighting an image or sentiment.  For my card, I am using the Stacked with Fun set and dies to create this cute window scene.

The background is embossed with the Swiss Dots embossing folder while the windows are made using my 1 1/4" square punch and the 1 1/2" Stitched Square die set from YNS.  The images were colored in with Copics and cut out with the coordinating die set before being popped up in the window.  I added a scrap patterned paper strip for added color and element before adding the Washi Tape die cut with the sentiment over that.  I think if I were to make this type of card again, I would make an interesting colored background in the window.  I don't know... I think it would make an interesting contrast.

We hope you play along with us and upload your creation to the YNS Challenge Blog for your chance to win! Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek!
